Dighapatiya Rajbari, now known as Uttara Ganobhaban, is located about three kilometers north of the district town of Natore. Uttara Ganobhaban is the local office and residence of the Prime Minister of Bangladesh in North Bengal. To see Uttara Ganobhaban, permission of the district administration is required.
Rani Bhabani Naib of Natore was pleased with Dayaram Roy and gave him the gift of Dighapatiya Pargana. Here he built several palaces. Surrounded by a lake and a wall on an area of about 43 acres, the palace has 12 buildings, large and small. The remains of King Prasannath are on the south side of the Kumar Bhavan and the guest house. In the main palace building there is the king's throne, the armor and the sword. Inside the royal palace is a garden decorated with sculptures collected from Italy. The entrance of Uttara Ganobhaban has a four-storied pyramid-shaped entrance. And at the top of it is the centennial clock of the Coke and Television Company of Britain.

There are many rare species of trees including Neelmanilata, Haparmali, Parijat, Raj-Ashoka, Saurabhi, Camphor, Licorice, Haimanti, Peyali, Banapulak, Tarajhara, Senuti, Madhabi, Sycamore. In front of the entrance, the first thing you can see is the huge moat on the right, which surrounds the entire palace. A little further left is the public works office, the car garage of that time. There are rose gardens, huge fields. The two-storey yellow building here is the Kumar Palace, the ground floor of which was used as a torture cell. There is a one-storey tehsil office. And there are four cannons of that time. There is a huge palace. A sculpture of Zamindar Dayaram in the garden adjoining the palace reminds him.
The 'Italian Garden' is the most significant part of the Uttara Ganobhaban. The garden is so named because Dayaram brought various furniture from Italy. There are five marble statues, fountains and benches. The benches, however, were brought from Calcutta. The trademark 'Kolkata' will not escape your eyes. One arm of the statue titled ‘Daughter of the Hills’ is broken. There was looting here in 1971. This wrist was bound with gold. At that time the Pakistani soldiers broke his arm and looted the gold
