Cane is almost forbidden. There are various arguments for and against it. However, it cannot be denied that the use of cane is a long-standing tradition in the education and culture of this country. (Those who say against cane, they too have risen to the heights of education-consciousness by eating the cane of the teacher - let it be implied !!) But still, at one time when cane was used, it could be seen that cane is being given the most - student hands Standing to get, the teacher's cane is drawing the sign of the rule in that matched hand with the burning of purification!
But why get a cane? There may be many logical / traditional reasons behind this. However, if you look at it from a different angle, it can be seen that there is a joint participation of both the student and the teacher in the process of shaking hands. That is, the participation of the convict in the punishment process is noticeable here. Such participation motivates compulsive surrender to the rules, and conscious self-realization (if the student's thinking is deep)! The most important thing to a student at that time is his or her punitive teacher, so his or her focus is focused. And, in this process, submission to the rules, self-realization, hand irritation - all these help the student to remember the punishment as well as the mistake (which is why it is seen that those who are compelled / good students, usually help nicely to get their hands on the punishment). , Beautiful hands)
Therefore, many teachers who are accustomed to this process do not complain when it comes to punishment. Because they are aware of the systemic effects of punishment in this process. Even if their cane fires, the mouth rains honey - which is an expression of affection for the student. So the acceptability of this scripture is also much higher for the student.
