The jungle shrubs that grow in the forest jungle shrubs used for the construction of fishery vessels, baiti, khakun, are called lei in the local language of Pabna. During the monsoon, demand for these fishing materials increases as demand increases. So, the needy people of Chatmohar and its adjoining ^ circuit area went out in search of the lai in various parts of the country including the Barendra area of Rajshahi, Rangpur Dinajpur. From those areas, they collected the lye and brought it for sale to Amritkunda, the only lye huts in Chatmohar in Pabna. The lobes swarm the forest as the bamboo flies survive, so are the lives of hundreds of people in the Chalanbil area.
