The 60-domed mosque is an ancient and historic mosque located in Bagerhat district. It is one of the oldest and largest mosques in Bangladesh. The eminent Auliya Azam Khanjahan Ali (ra) built the mosque in the 5th century. The mosque was built for many years and cost a lot of money. The stones were brought from Rajmahal.
The mosque is about 4 feet to the north and south to the outside, and about 3 feet to the inside and about 3 feet to the inside, to the east, and about 3 feet wide. The walls are about 4 • 3 feet thick.
